Hi guys, before moving deep into Offpage SEO, I wise to tell you the basics in crisp short.Heading into SEO first, in simple, SEO is a process by which we can help our websites rank higher up in Google search engine results page (SERP).
There are two major types in SEO namely
1.On page SEO:

- Search Engine Submissions
Search Engines are the #1 source of traffic for many businesses today. Search Engines like Google, Yahoo, Bing, yandex, Baidu ( I have ordered based on search Volumes). Try to submit your website to the different search engines, get indexed by them (You can check whether your page/site has been indexed). If it is indexed, try checking the frequency of your pages getting crawled and cached by the by the search engines by the tools available. You can Google them out. I will also mention a few here.

- Blog Commenting
This is a very basic method, used exhaustively by SEO analysts earlier days. “You put 100 comments, improve SERP positions by 10 placements” was an earlier trend. But the fudge of the cream has not melted totally. Only irrelevant blog comments to your niche are considered now as spammed. Otherwise we can proceed with this method still.
As I have mentioned earlier, we have to find relevant blogs, put right comments and place a link on it (Probably the link to your landing page. Also do check if that comment you are posting is a no-followed or not, there is nothing like do-follow).If no-followed, no page rank (Will be done in a new article) will flow to your site. So it is of no use, if we move for a no follow link
Finally, it is at the grace of the webmaster of the site you comment, your comment will be either approved or left back as such. So out of 100 comments you try posting, only 5 will be without no-follow and flow page rank to your site.
- Social Bookmarking
It is a vivid tool, mostly abused without much knowledge on how to use. As the name implies, Bookmarking is actually marking a list of your favorite websites, with appropriate tags in popular social sites. This enables a group formation and the information is shared within the group. But now, these sites are merely used for SEO purposes and left spammed junkies.
Few Sites like Stumbleupon, Pinterest, Dig, and Delicious are powerful social bookmarking sites. You can pin, repin, like, share your favorite content on these sites. These sites have grown into a mammoth because of the value they provide by quality interactions. About 4 million visits are made every single day to these platforms.

- Directory Submission
Many could be speaking directory submission is actually dead. But it lives till date. I have been trying with directory submission, and I have been successful in gaining results from such submission. Though the yielded result can’t be anywhere comparable to the results we use to get before 2010’s, still it lives.
Choosing the right directory and getting your listing approved in the right category is much important. Don’t publish listings in irrelevant categories. It might not be so useful. Directory submissions are loved by bots, as they are provided with fresh contents more often, upon which the bots crawl more.
- Article Submission list
Writing articles of your own and getting them published in high PA and DA article sites would make you get viral traffic. Article submissions are considered a sort of reputable ranking methods, when Google favored skewed towards content strategy. But as would everything has its fall, article submissions fell off the ranking index of Google, but not in other search Engine algorithms.
6.Forum Postings
Forum Postings are a great way to engage people and get them into discussion on your topic. Forum posting never fell out of favor of search engines. If you perform properly, great number of traffic can be diverted to your website. This forum discussions have helped many businesses to get good reviews and get their goal Completed (I say goal completion here because; there are different target for different sectors. If you are a company selling products, the goal will be selling products, for a service company, it would be people requiring their services, for a blogger, its email subscriptions.)
Remember always when people or your SEO company speaks something on like, “do not go for forum listings, as Google no more values them, mind them we should not be completely dependent on Google for our business”. So any kind of valuable forum discussions are welcome always.
7.Community Creation in social Sites
Try Creating Your Profiles in great social sharing websites. Fill them with proper data’s to reveal what you are currently. Make clear of all the information and present. Create Communities in social sites and participate in them regularly. This could get you a great fan following. Discuss the topics trending in your industry with the experts, get their opinion. You will be amazed to see how this would help you in future.
Social statistics suggest, about 79% of all the people who are online at any point of time are into social media sites. This stat is amazing. Try leveraging yourself on this.
8.Guest Blogging
One of the greatest methods used by many SEO people is blogging after Penguin 2.0. After the downward trend of article sites performance, these blogging sites have risen up as the single largest source of backlink provider, page value booster. This still rules the roost.
But always I would suggest you not to go for a blogging network. Many blogging networks have been penalized by Google post January 2014. Mattcutts mentioned in a video release that Google will be no longer value guest blog networks and scrappy blogs.
Many bloggers meant this to be too personal to them, but this is not that venomous as thought to be. Think, will you say no to a guest blog done in forbes.com, just for the reason that Google no longer values that. We will say a big NO! That’s right. Google dint blow upon a death knell on the guest blogging platform. Just the Quality Varied.
9.Blog
Internal Blogs (though this comes under on site SEO, I wish to write here), are considered to be most significant factor that Google moves this day. Make your blog with a perfect architecture. I mean not the site design, Which I s also needed, but the content design.
Content flow has to be valued a lot. Publishing great content, original research articles, Infographic designs, controversial topic contents, trending topics etc. are loved by many people. I’m sure, if such content is promoted in your social media, it will draw considerable traffic to your site. I have seen some of the contents getting viral traffic by the moment it is published approximately 15000 visitors per day to a particular page on the site.

10.Photo Sharing
A single image speaks more than 1000 words. More of these phrases explain about image sharing. Yes indeed, try creating images, and post them on your blog. Infographic images are the trend. Try moving on to them. If you have got them all ok, you are on the perfect track.
There are great list of sites to share your pictures. Website’s like Pinterest, Flickr and social sharing channels like Instagram could get the most needed attention you would ever need.
11.Video Sharing
Videos are the most engaging tool. If you could create videos for your blog, publish them across the video sharing platforms like YouTube, vimeo, Netflix, daily motion, live leak, that’s the place where you would be getting pretty decent fans following you, not just a visitor base.
If you could create separate channels for you in these sites, you will have swarms of traffic flowing in. You could also make money for the original videos you publish
12.Slide Sharing
Slides, PowerPoint sharing is second only to videos in user engagement. A survey shows if video engagement is 80% (overall), Slideshare will be 50%. Contents will be far low in the scale in terms of most engaging tool. (But not that if you present quality content).
Again, you create this one time and you can share this in any number of platforms like videos and inforgraphics. But Contents cannot be published as like that. It will be under duplicate content category once if the content is copied. 13.Social Media
Social Media turns out to be the new King in the field of SEO. You can’t ignore the king. Ignoring the king = Ignoring yourself to be in the country. Consider yourself to be into this social media platform, if you are not already into it. SEO skews towards SMO.
The Social media sites like Facebook, Google+, LinkedIn, Pint rest, Stumble upon etc. have to be given due share of respect to gain more followers to your site.
In 2014, many would say the facets of SEO in Google have changed completely. But I would say, it has not changed, it just evolves to a higher form.
